What can I say? Alex is one of my favorite designers, I've lost track of how many of his designs I have.
I cut these out on my scroll saw as a triple stack, and then rattle can painted it 4 different colors. Then glued it all up.

Alex’s layer pattern are about as good as layered projects get. This one when finished sends a powerfully disturbing message regarding war. If one uses the recommended 1/8” wood I would recommend stack cutting at least 2 layers as single layer 1/8” can be difficult to cut accurately, especially if using solid wood rather that Baltic Birch plywood.

Loved how it finally came out. Had a booger of a time cutting using the wood I bought. It kept chipping the small details away. User error for sure. My husband loved it.. and have people coming your way to purchase this file... You're welcome
